IU Health West Professional Office Building
The IU Health West P.O.B. was a 3-story expansion of the medical office building at the IU Health West Medical Center in Avon, Indiana. The project, which expanded the building into an existing parking lot, began with stripping the brick exterior face on the existing facility so structural steel could be tied into the existing platforms. Other details of the project include traditional steel stud construction, composite concrete pad, lightweight concrete and membrane roof with brick, cast stone and limestone veneers. The project commenced on August 1, 2008 and was completed in 8 months.
