3419 English Avenue Mental Health Facility
The renovation project at 3419 English Avenue transformed an existing strip shopping center into a mental health facility, with WursterConstruction providing all the necessary exterior updates. Key tasks included demolishing a section of the structure, replacing half of the roof, installing a new canopy, and updating the exterior with masonry and metal panels. New sidewalks and landscaping were installed in front of the building. Constructibility issues such as deteriorated roof decking and sewer replacements were addressed promptly. Despite the initial logistical challenge of replacing the sewer line, the project maintained its schedule and exceeded profit expectations. The renovation enhanced community services by providing additional mental health treatment professionals in the area.
