Joining Wurster as Associate Vice President of Healthcare Construction Services is Melissa Finnerty. Melissa’s construction experience has been heavily focused in healthcare. Her intimate knowledge of the operational side of hospital systems, coupled with her 12-plus years in hospital construction (including her previous role as project manager for Wurster Construction from 2003-2009), makes her an invaluable asset to our clients. Few individuals in the healthcare industry can match Melissa’s experience as both a “constructor” and as an “owner’s representative”. Melissa’s accomplishments include assisting IU Health in implementing design and construction standards throughout the organization’s 13 hospitals. She worked exclusively with each hospital’s facility managers on regulatory compliance through the implementation of life Safety assessments in conjunction with HFAP and JC Accreditation programs.
