Scecina Memorial High School – Athletic Fields & Main Entrance Updates

Athletic Fields & Main Entrance Updates

Scecina Memorial High School is a Roman Catholic high school located on the east side of Indianapolis. For over a decade, Wurster has partnered with Scecina on their capital campaign projects to help renovate and expand the school to better fulfill the student’s educational and spiritual needs. Our latest project included reworking the school’s main entrance and updating its athletic fields. New concrete sidewalks were completed, and a new accessibility ramp was installed to ensure all visitors can access the main hall. The new entrance is now complete with modern safety and security features, student gathering areas, visitor-friendly parking, landscaping, exterior lighting, and signage. The new athletic fields were made out of two-layer synthetic turf for durability. The fields include a new baseball diamond, a hybrid football/soccer/lacrosse field, and a perimeter track for physical education. The grounds included two gateway buildings for storage, restrooms, concessions, and team changing rooms. The sports facilities on campus are now equipped with a 2 story air conditioned press box, dugouts, netting system, and scoreboard.
