Orchard School Renovation & Additions
The project started as two separate classrooms. The existing finishes and load bearing dividing wall were removed to create an empty shell. While the existing roof was temporarily supported, new helical piers and concrete footers were installed under slab to support new structural steel that was installed to support the existing roof structure. Existing walls were furred out a new ceiling was installed. The space received new MEP’s, laboratory casework and the floor was covered with a multi-colored epoxy.
