IU Health Pathology Laboratory
This fully-automated laboratory facility features three levels of parking under 168,200 sq. ft. of labs, offices and educational space. It features a state of the art robotic laboratory analysis line as well as an integrated pneumatic tubing system that connects this building to IU Health’s three hospitals located up to a mile away. This project, which was performed as a joint venture with Smoot Construction progressed over two years. The facility was designed and constructed to connect to the 1.5 mile People Mover system via the Canal Station which offers a fantastic view of downtown Indianapolis.
