Crossroads Community Church
The team broke ground in April 2005 and utilized thousands of tons of owner provided black foundry sand as site fill to bring the grade up as much as 8′ in some places. The fill operation and the use of aerated autoclaved concrete, or AAC, blocks as structural material combined to make this project unique and challenging in many ways. This “first-phase” undoubtedly gives the church the flexibility it required to thrive in its new environment.
