General Contracting
General Contractor selection usually takes place after construction drawings are completed and all aspects of the project are ready to go to the bidding phase. When selecting a general contractor, two options are available as it relates to contract method – negotiated contract or a lump sum contract. Under a negotiated contract, we can tap our database of pre-qualified subcontractors to provide trade services on the project. More specifically we provide the following services during construction:
- Meet regularly with owner, architect/design team and trade contractors
- Provide regular reporting of all aspects of the project
- Conduct Weekly or Bi-Weekly meetings with trade contractors
- Ensure quality by managing control programs
- Manage change directives and clarifications
- Subcontractor management
- Monitor and manage schedule
- Monitor, track and manage budget
- Manage and implement all safety programs and inspections
- Perform project closeout procedures
