General Contracting

General Contractor selection usually takes place after construction drawings are completed and all aspects of the project are ready to go to the bidding phase. When selecting a general contractor, two options are available as it relates to contract method – negotiated contract or a lump sum contract. Under a negotiated contract, we can tap our database of pre-qualified subcontractors to provide trade services on the project. More specifically we provide the following services during construction:

Meet regularly with owner, architect/design team and trade contractors
Provide regular reporting of all aspects of the project
Conduct Weekly or Bi-Weekly meetings with trade contractors
Ensure quality by managing control programs
Manage change directives and clarifications
Subcontractor management
Monitor and manage schedule
Monitor, track and manage budget
Manage and implement all safety programs and inspections
Perform project closeout procedures
